Open the camera
The app opens straight to capture. No feed, explore tab, import screen, or editing tray.
25 EXP / pocket film pack
Rollkept is a phone camera that behaves like a boxed roll of film: 25 exposures, no imports, and a real set of prints at the end.
First-roll invites only. No social feed. No filter spam.
Auto demo: one photo is kept every two seconds.
Why this exists
We made photography frictionless, then wondered why the photos stopped feeling important. Screenshots, duplicates, receipts, almost-moments, AI edits, and throwaway snaps all land in the same endless pile.
Rollkept goes the other way. It gives the roll an edge. You know each photo has a cost, a number, and a physical destination before you press the shutter.
The whole product
The app opens straight to capture. No feed, explore tab, import screen, or editing tray.
Each shutter press fills one numbered slot. The constraint stays visible while you shoot.
The roll closes automatically. That finished set moves into the print queue.
A small physical archive arrives instead of another folder you never open.
The difference
Everything goes in. Almost nothing comes back out.
One finished set, printed and mailed when the roll is full.
The rules
You cannot upload old photos. The roll starts now.
The point is not to invent better memories.
Twenty-five images means twenty-five decisions.
These are for the envelope, not the algorithm.
Simple pricing
$20/month covers the whole ritual: a 25-shot roll, a finished set of prints, and an envelope mailed to your door when the roll is full.
Trust
No follows, likes, comments, or feed pressure.
Location data is removed by default before printing.
Your roll is not raw material for an image model.
FAQ
No. Rollkept only prints photos taken inside the app. The roll starts now, not in a backlog of old screenshots, duplicates, and almost-moments.
The roll closes. You confirm the delivery details, then the finished set is printed and posted as one complete batch.
$20/month includes one 25-photo roll and one finished set of prints mailed to your door. The price is visible on purpose: it gives every frame a real limit and a real destination.
One active roll, 25 printed photos, and delivery as one complete set in the first supported region. If you are still finishing a roll, your next roll credit waits in your account.
There will be a short undo for obvious accidents. After that, the frame stays in the roll. A little imperfection is part of why the set feels alive.
Rollkept is print-first. The app keeps a small contact sheet so you can see the roll status, but the main reward is the envelope, not another gallery.
The first sets are planned around classic 4x6-style prints with a clean border. We will confirm the paper and finish before anyone pays for a roll.
The roll stays open. Rollkept should not pressure you into filler photos just to complete an order, so the prints are only made when the set is actually finished.
Yes. You can update the address before the roll is sent to print, and the app asks you to confirm it when the roll is complete.
It borrows the best part of a disposable camera: limited frames and a physical ending. It skips the plastic waste and the extra errand.
The first release will open in one supported delivery region so postage and print quality stay consistent. We will show the region clearly before checkout.
First roll
Join the first-roll list and we will email when the camera is ready to turn finished rolls into prints.
First-roll invites only. No feed, no filters, no newsletter pile-up.
